Anne Filson

Anne Filson is a registered architect, designer, and educator, who holds degrees from Columbia University and Smith College. She co-founded AtFAB after years of working for world class architecture and interdisciplinary design firms, and collaborating on high profile projects for large clients with substantial budgets. Her experience as a Project Architect for OMA/Rem Koolhaas, and as a Strategy and Design Consultant for IDEO, have strongly informed how she integrates design, design thinking, and innovative models of practice.

Ben Baker

Ben has been engrossed in both sketchbook and workshop since he graduated with a Masters degree in Furniture Design in 2010. His understanding of design and making allows him to improve products and processes continuously so that the people making his designs will enjoy them as much as the people who purchase them. If love and care can be put into the process of making then it should become apparent in the final outcome.

Bill Young

Trained as a boat carpenter, Bill Young now works for ShopBot Tools as a digital fabrication specialist. In his shop on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Bill works on CNC projects ranging from milling circuit boards to fabricating full-sized houses. Bill is a co-creator of the Shelter 2.0 project and one of the founders of the 100kGarages digital fabrication network.

Boris Goldberg

Boris Goldberg is an Israeli mechanical & industrial designer. He is the Founder of BGD Studio for the design and development of products and consumer goods, the transfer from development to manufacturing, and new product introduction (NPI) services.

Bruno Schillinger

Bruno Schillinger is a London-based multi disciplinary designer who’s work is inspired by a deep passion for understanding people and their subconscious everyday habits. With a focus on composition, materiality and open-ended functionality, Bruno’s work aims to subvert peoples expectations of object use to cultivate new and unexpected rituals.

Christian Desile

Christian comes from the School of Fine Arts of Bordeaux in France. Emphasising photography as a means of expression, he launched a photography and image synthesis agency and has worked in architecture for the past fifteen years. Self-taught, he developed a passion for design and started personal production in 2005. He exhibited his first prototype folding chair at the St Etienne Biennale (France) in 2008, and was recognised by the Belgian editor VANGE.

David Steiner

David is a product and furniture designer whose work is underpinned by an inherent fascination with materials and manufacturing processes. Currently working towards his MA in Design Products at the RCA, he designed the Café table and others whilst working with 00:/ on the original range of furniture for the Hub Westminster.

Denis Fuzii

Denis Fuzii is a Brazilian architect, designer and founder of Studio Lux and an early contributor to Opendesk

Gary Rohrbacher

Gary Rohrbacher is an american registered architect and co-founder of AtFab and designed its range for Opendesk

Hristo Stankushev

Hristo Stankushev (b.1982) graduated UACEG Sofia in 2007 and founded Bulgarian architecture and design practice dontDIY with Svetoslav Michev and Stefan Minkov in 2010. He lives and works in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Joe Fox

Joe has an industrial design and mechanical engineering background which translates into pieces that observe simplicity and function, while staying true to materials.

Johann Aussage

Johann is a French designer working on interaction and product design at Nouvelle Fabrique.

Joni Steiner

Joni developed the original range of open-source furniture for Mint Digital and Hub Westminster and continues to evolve this with Opendesk.

Jose Pacheco

Jose Pacheco is an spanish industrial designer and mechanical engineer. He is passionate about 3D printing and the new open technologies for digital fabrication. In the past Jose has designed a range of products for 3D print and furniture pieces for CNC machining.

Josh Worley

Josh was born and raised in the leafy suburbs of Surrey, England before graduating from Central Saint Martins with a First Class Honours Degree in Product Design in 2014. He has spent some of the most exciting and challenging years of his career at Opendesk. Here he has progressed from Designer to Lead Designer to Content Lead, before taking on his current position as Head of Design. In his current position Josh maintains a holistic view of design from the direction and development of physical products to the conceptualisation and realisation of digital tooling through which these products are distributed.

Lucy Dinnen

Lucy is an Architect and Educator working in London and Sarajevo. She is a founding director at Projekt V Arhitektura an Award winning architecture and research practice in Sarajevo. She has worked at a number of high profile London architecture practices and the Victoria and Albert Museum both as an Architect and Project Manager. She has a passion for collaborative design processes and project delivery, working on projects which range in size, scale and budget.

Lynton Pepper

As part of his ongoing research and experimentations in co-working behaviours, he is looking to develop Opendesk furniture that will enable everyone to be able to shape their surroundings.

Mathew Keegan

Mathew is a passionate creative, natural generalist and true people person. Since graduating with a Masters of Science in Software Engineering, Mathew has had numerous roles in the tech sector.

Pia Narula

Pia spent time in India, Bahrain and England when she was growing up, before graduating from the University of Chicago. She is the co-founder of 57st. design; a vertically-integrated, contemporary furniture brand based out of Chicago. Pia’s work, along with her co-founder Sam Devenport, emphasises simplicity of form and a considered approach to material, construction and manufacturing. Pia believes that good design is ethical- both socially and economically sustainable.

Pierrick Faure

Pierrick Faure is a young designer and graduate of ESAD St Etienne, France.

Raque Kunz

Fascinated with the potential of digital fabrication, Raque employs an iterative design process where he designs, tests, and re-designs; experimenting to solve design challenges. Raque holds a BFA in studio art from the University of Texas at Austin in the U.S. and is working on a Masters of Design in at Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand. As a child Raque wasn’t very good at building things. He spent more time fixing his skateboard ramp than skating - but this disability turned into skill and it taught him that anything worth doing is worth doing twice!

Ryan McKibbin

Ryan is Fabrication Labs Director at the Catholic University’s School of Architecture and Planning, where he teaches Furniture Design and Digital Fabrication.

Sam Devenport

Sam is a Chicago native who began his career in labour advocacy before shifting into design and manufacturing. Sam is the co-founder of 57st. design; a vertically-integrated, contemporary furniture brand based out of Chicago. Sam’s work, along with his co-founder Pia Narula, emphasises simplicity of form and a considered approach to material, construction and manufacturing.

Thor ter Kulve

Thor ter Kulve is a Dutch-born designer living in London on his narrow boat nestled on Regent’s Canal, a stone’s throw from Broadway market. A constant observer of people, Thor takes design inspiration from his own life and the lives of others. His work redefines public spaces with innovative products that transform civic objects into tools of unexpected usefulness. Born in Amsterdam, Thor came to London in 2013 to study at the Royal College of Art.

Will Holman

Will Holman trained as an architect at Virginia Tech and the Rural Studio. He has worked as a cabinetmaker, furniture designer, author, carpentry instructor, and artist’s assistant. His first book, The Guerilla Furniture Design Manual, will be available from Storey Publishing in 2015.
