Christian Desile

Christian comes from the School of Fine Arts of Bordeaux in France. Emphasising photography as a means of expression, he launched a photography and image synthesis agency and has worked in architecture for the past fifteen years. Self-taught, he developed a passion for design and started personal production in 2005. He exhibited his first prototype folding chair at the St Etienne Biennale (France) in 2008, and was recognised by the Belgian editor VANGE. In September 2009, at Maison & Objet (Design Now), he received the “Découverte Design Now” (Design Now Discovery) and “Press Choice awards” « ideat » for the Desile Vange chair.
